Magill Village Vet has been providing care to families in Magill and the surrounding area for over 20 years, and it is no great surprise that we have grown out of the St Bernard’s Road site. We have been looking for a new home for the clinic since 2016, and as they say ‘good things come to those who wait’.
The building, which was originally the Magill Police Station, came on the market in July 2021 during one of our COVID ‘shutdowns’. We immediately fell in love with this beautiful red brick building dating from 1909, and of course the location in the centre of the revitalised Magill Village precinct seemed ideal.
Our vision for 607 Magill Road was to respect and honour the heritage of the police station (and the adjacent police cells) while creating a modern and beautiful veterinary clinic for our pets and their families.
